All-Ways Elevator, Inc. is a locally owned and operated, full-service elevator company specializing in installations, modernizations, service, and repairs for both commercial and residential clients. We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support our growing team.

This is a highly impactful role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day Human Resources functions that support our employees and operations, including payroll, benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations. What You'll Do
  • Prepare payroll data/reports, input into payroll systems, and maintain payroll records
  • Review payroll reports for accuracy prior to payroll transmission
  • Manage employee benefits administration including health insurance and 401(k) participation
  • Coordinate with brokers regarding benefits, Workers’ Compensation, Disability, and 401(k) plans
  • Manage unemployment, Workers’ Compensation, Disability, and EEOC claims
  • Track employee attendance, timesheets, vacation, sick, and personal time
  • Maintain employee records including onboarding, terminations, employee changes, benefits, and payroll deductions
  • Process and maintain new hire paperwork and employee documentation
  • Create, maintain, review, and distribute job descriptions
  • Manage applicant tracking systems, recruiting efforts, resume screening, and preliminary interviews
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation
  • Conduct employee reviews and assist with employee coaching and disciplinary documentation
  • Liaise with Labor Law firms to ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations
  • Maintain and update employee handbook policies and procedures
  • Respond to Human Resources-related questions and employee requests
  • Implement and improve HR policies, procedures, and systems
  • Coordinate pre-hire, post-accident, and random drug testing
  • Coordinate company events, special projects, and other administrative initiatives as needed
  • Work collaboratively with management and employees to foster a positive workplace culture
  • Review processes and procedures, making assessments as needed and recommending improvements
  • Other related tasks as the company deems necessary and/or assigns
