Job summary

Henkel’s Irvine internship offers hands-on experience in HR, partnering with business partners across the employee lifecycle, including interviews, onboarding, events and offboarding.

You will support payroll, talent acquisition and benefits projects, collaborate with COEs, and help foster inclusivity and cross-functional teamwork in a dynamic corporate setting. This internship runs May 24 to August 13, 2027, with potential for future opportunities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student graduating in 2028 or 2029 pursuing a degree in social sciences or business administration.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Interest in Human Resources, organizational culture, and employee engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR Business Partners to support lifecycle activities, including interviews, onboarding, employee events, and offboarding.
• Serve as the first point of contact for the Irvine HR space during Summer 2027, helping create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) on payroll, talent acquisition, and benefits projects.
• Contribute to initiatives that promote inclusivity and collaboration across departments and employee groups.

• This internship is noteligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.
  
• This internship has a duration of May 24th – August 13th.
  
• Recruitment for our 2027 internships starts in September 2026 and runs through early March 2027 or until all our positions are filled.

The salary for this role is $22-$27/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
