Job summary

Henkel in Stamford, CT seeks a social media content intern to support employer branding and early-career marketing. You will create content for Henkel's social channels, highlight our culture and opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The internship runs May 24–August 13, includes campus event support, training via Henkel's online platform, and network opportunities with leaders; the role offers hands-on experience and potential for future opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a rising junior or senior pursuing a marketing-related degree.
• Experience creating social media and video content for a company or campus org.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to craft clear presentations.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and student engagement.

Responsibilities

• Create content for Henkel's social media channels to showcase culture, people, and career opportunities.
• Research competitors and best practices to identify trends in early-career marketing and translate insights into talent attraction strategies.
• Assist with university recruitment planning for Fall 2027, including campus strategy, event support, and other employer branding projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Employer Branding, Talent Acquisition, and Human Resources on projects that elevate Henkel's brand.

What you'll do

• Create content for Henkel's social media channels (@henkeltalent on Instagram; @henkel on TikTok) to showcase our culture, people, and career opportunities
• Conduct research on competitors and industry best practices to identify trends in early-career marketing and translate insights into strategic recommendations for talent attraction
• Assist with university recruitment planning for Fall 2027, including campus strategy, event support, and other employer branding projects
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Employer Branding, Talent Acquisition, and Human Resources teams on projects that elevate Henkel's brand and employee-centric experiences

What makes you a good fit

• Rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field
• Hands-on experience creating social media and video content for a company, personal brand, student organization or campus club
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (with ability to create clear, visually compelling presentations)
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and what drives engagement with students and early-career audiences

• This internship is not eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.
• This internship has a duration of May 24th - August 13th
• Recruitment for our 2027 internships starts in September 2026 and runs through early March 2027 or until all our positions are filled

The salary for this role is $22-$27/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
