Job summary

Sinclair, Inc. in Hunt Valley, MD, is seeking a driven Human Resources Intern to gain real-world experience in attracting, engaging, and retaining talent. You'll collaborate with seasoned HR professionals on meaningful projects rather than just shadowing.

The role offers hands-on experience across Talent Acquisition, Benefits Administration, HRIS and data, and employee experience. You will contribute to onboarding, orientation, and culture initiatives while working about 15 hours per week for 10

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing (or recently completed) an undergraduate or graduate degree.
• At least a sophomore at an accredited college/university.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to work approximately 15 hours per week for 10 weeks during Fall 2026, with scheduling flexibility.
• Able to work from Hunt Valley, MD location (reliable transportation required).
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: help identify top talent through job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate engagement.
• Benefits Administration: support day-to-day benefits activities, employee communications, enrollment-related processes, and benefits documentation.
• HRIS & Employee Data: gain experience with HR systems, audits, reporting, and data accuracy.
• Employee Experience: support onboarding, orientation, and initiatives that enhance engagement and culture.
• Projects: partner with HR leaders on real initiatives that influence how we hire, develop, and support our teams.

• Projects That Matter: Partner with HR leaders on real initiatives-not busywork-that influence how we hire, develop, and support our teams

The hourly compensation for this role is $18.50 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
