The State Group is offering a Human Resources internship on-site in Louisville, Kentucky for Summer 2027. This structured program emphasizes mentorship, cross‑functional exposure, and a capstone project addressing a real business challenge, with a pathway to full-time roles after graduation.

Interns gain hands-on experience, collaborate across teams, and participate in professional development while building a network within a leading North American contractor group.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a college diploma or university degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Completion of at least one year of post‑secondary education.
• A strong desire to learn, contribute, and grow in a professional environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• The ability to follow direction, manage priorities, and take initiative.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across the organization while gaining insight into how our business operates.
• Assist with research, analysis, planning, documentation, reporting, and other responsibilities related to your area of study.
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas, updates, and solutions.
• Build practical skills through hands‑on experience, mentorship, and professional development.
• Network with other interns and participate in a collaborative Capstone Project.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
