Job summary

The Boring Company is offering a paid Human Resources (HR) Internship in Bastrop, TX. In-office, for current students or recent graduates, with priority for those who have completed at least their junior year.

Interns will handle onboarding, payroll, and HR initiatives, among other duties, and must arrange housing, meals, and transport. Responsibilities include processing HRIS transactions, I-9 verification, onboarding, safety audits, event planning, and producing HR guides and training

Responsibilities

The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions.

This paid internship will grant you the opportunity to explore many areas of HR, such as onboarding, employee relations, safety, and payroll. Priority is given to students who have completed at least their junior year of college. Interns will be responsible for their own housing, food, and transportation.

CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR FALL 2026. PRIORITY FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a 4-year Bachelor's or Master's program at an accredited college or university
