Job Summary:

The HR Director will assist in managing human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with state and federal regulations. This role is pivotal in maintaining a professional and supportive work environment aligned with the mission of Fairview Nursing and Rehab.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (e.g., personnel files, I-9s, training logs)
• Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure completion of all required documentation
• Support benefits enrollment, workers’ compensation claims, and leave management (FMLA, STD, etc.)
• Assist department managers with HR-related questions and employee relations matters
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (including DOH and OSHA standards)
• Assist with audits, including preparation for OFCCP and state surveys
• Perform other administrative HR tasks as needed
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting
• Knowledge of Pennsylvania labor laws and healthcare HR compliance strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality
