Description:
Primary responsibilities for this position are to administer the human resources programs/duties and oversee all aspects of managing the 8154 offices' day-to-day activities. Maintain the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), including maintaining employee personnel files, ensuring employment law compliance Assist in maintaining insurance and benefit programs along with the Financial Officer and Executive Director. Conduct Employee Orientations. Assist in bookkeeping duties, sign all disbursements, and distribute checks. Schedule Board Meetings upon request, distribute information packets for Board Meetings, attend the meetings and assist in taking meeting minutes.
Education:
Business or related Degree/Certification or commensurate experience in human resource administration and office administration. Knowledge of Human Resource laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
High degree of oral and written communication abilities. Ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of MS programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Familiar with Native American culture, organizations and activities.
