Express Employment offers end-to-end HR support across the entire team member life cycle, and this role brings you into the work at the center of hiring, development, engagement, compensation, and employee relations. This is an onsite position in McMinnville, OR with a USD 60,000 - 100,000 per year salary range.
Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment by creating requisitions, screening applicants, and managing the recruitment process.
- Create offer packages and conduct background checks.
- Stay current on EEO, state, and government regulations to support compliance across all talent acquisition activities.
- Participate in job evaluations and support job description development.
- Review local pay survey data and analyze pay information to help shape wage and benefit review inputs and other compensation-related programs and processes.
- Implement talent-focused projects such as talent reviews and performance assessments, applying talent management best practices.
- Administer the global engagement survey at division locations.
- Promote engagement survey participation, ensure access for all team members, and use input from Learning and Organizational Effectiveness to launch engagement action plans and improvement efforts.
- Coach management on appropriate employee relations issue resolution.
- Investigate employee complaints and ensure timely, equitable outcomes.
- Lead organizational training efforts related to HR policies and practices, organizational development, and compliance.
- Use analytics tools and dashboards to evaluate talent data, conduct detailed analysis, and extract insights for strategic decisions.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports to management with recommendations for key talent actions and improvements.
- Support communication and documentation during labor relations discussions and processes, if applicable.
- Coordinate annual benefit enrollment, team member engagement activities, and community service endeavors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR experience, including internships, co-ops, or entry-level roles.
- Prior professional, academic, or extra-curricular leadership experience is preferred.
- Exposure to manufacturing environments and/or familiarity with union/labor relations is beneficial.
- General knowledge of various HR or related functions.
- Ability to communicate effectively through verbal, written, and presentation formats with varied audiences in English and Spanish.

- Subject to compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident (“green card” holder), or have refugee or asylee status.
