Human Resources Generalist
Supervisor/Reporting to: Human Resources Business Partner
Base Pay Range
$85,000.00/yr – $95,000.00/yr
Job PurposeThe HR Generalist supports the delivery of effective HR services within a healthcare environment by ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. This role provides day‑to‑day HR guidance to leaders, clinicians, and staff on employee relations, performance management, and workplace issues, with a strong understanding of the unique operational and regulatory needs of healthcare settings. The HR Generalist partners with leadership and the HR team to implement consistent, compliant, and employee‑focused HR practices that support quality patient care, organizational objectives, and a culture of professionalism, accountability, and respect.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities
- Serve as a trusted HR resource to managers and employees by providing guidance and support on employee relations matters, performance management, and workplace concerns.
- Partner with leadership to ensure consistent application of HR policies, practices, and procedures across the organization.
- Support compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations through the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of HR compliance processes.
- Assist in adapting and implementing company and group HR policies to ensure alignment with local labor laws and organizational needs.
- Identify HR‑related opportunities to support business objectives and recommend practical, people‑focused solutions.
- Coordinate and assist with labor and employment‑related matters, including preparation of documentation and collaboration with external legal or advisory partners as needed.
- Support compliance risk identification by assisting with assessments, documentation, and implementation of improvement plans.
- Assist managers with performance management processes, including coaching, corrective actions, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and disciplinary actions.
- Participate in and hva support workplace investigations, ensuring fair, timely, and consistent handling of employee relations issues.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices; interpret and apply requirements to address employee relations and compliance matters effectively.
Academic Training
- Bachelor’s degree required preferably in HR Mg ▶ conduction, labor relations, I/O psychology or other related field
- Studies level: University Education (Bachelor's Degree)
- Studies area: Human Resources or other related field
Position Requirements/Experience
- Previous HR experience of at least 2 years, 1+ years of புதிய as a Human Resources Generalist or Human Resources Specialist.
- Experience in the health care sector – preferred
- Knowledge of, and ability to interpret, applicable Federal and State employment laws. Understanding of labor & employment laws, compensation & benefits, policies & procedures.
- Experience in performance management, employee relations and talent development.
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel - required
