Job summary

The Krizner Group 1 in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join our on-site team. You will assist with onboarding, payroll and benefits administration, ensure compliance with employment laws, and maintain HRIS records to support day-to-day HR operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, a solid foundation in HR practices, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of broad-based Human Resources experience.
• 2 years HR/Payroll/Training experience.
• On-site in Tallahassee, FL.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, payroll and benefits administration.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Maintain electronic personnel files in the HRIS with required forms/documents.
• Ensure I-9, E-Verify, accommodations, and postings compliance.
• Support annual benefits open enrollment and answer benefits questions.
• Recruitment: postings, screenings, resume reviews, outreach, offers.
• Support manager training and scheduling of employee reviews.
• Create/update job descriptions and HR forms as needed.
• Assist with employee relations, AA and EEO plans.
• Represent organization at colleges, universities and job fairs.

The duties of the Human Resources Generalist may include:

• Assistance with Onboarding, Payroll and Benefits administration
• Maintains compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
• Maintains electronic personnel files ensuring all necessary forms and documents are completed and uploaded to the HRIS
• Responsible for compliance with I-9 completion and retention, E-Verify, reasonable accommodations, and posted notices
• Provides communication and assistance with the annual benefit open enrollment process and answers routine benefits questions
• Recruitment of new employees to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.Including job postings, screenings, reviewing resumes, outreach, and preparing offers.
• Facilitates and/or participates in manager and supervisor training as needed
• Tracks and coordinates employee review schedules and ensures information is in the HRIS
• Creates, updates, and maintains job descriptions and other HR forms and documents as needed
• Assist with employee relations as needed
• Assist with AA and EEO plans as needed
• Represent organization at colleges, universities and job fairs as needed
• Performs other job duties as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5+ years of broad based Human Resources experience
• 2 years Human Resources/ Payroll/Training experience
• Work on-site in Tallahassee, FL
