Job summary

Synectics Inc. is seeking a People Experience Advisor to operate local HR activities in Richmond, VA. This role acts as the main contact for employees when self-service is not available and sits within the local BU squad.

You will use BU knowledge to tailor HR services for the location, supporting onboarding, learning delivery, and time & attendance. The position emphasizes employee experience and continuous improvement of end-to-end HR services.

Qualifications

• Key point of contact to employee and managers for HR related queries, self-service transactions, HR portal navigation, policy interpretation and process support requiring face-to-face interaction and hard copy documentation
• Responsible for focusing on employee experience and continuous improvement of end-to-end operational HR services
• Supports documentation and implements local/ country specific policies
• Responsible for identifying service issues, proposing improvements and supporting implementing changes
• Supports the delivery of projects and initiatives within their country/BU
• Responsible for Employee Relations support (where service not provided by SSC)

• A key point of contact to employees where self-service /shared services support is not available and sits within the local BU squad team.
• Use Business Unit knowledge to provide local HR services that are relevant and tailored to the needs of the BU/location (e.g. Time & Attendance support, etc.)
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the local BU/location; work as part of the BU squad, providing business intimacy and supporting with delivery of local HR services
• Escalate business specific queries to the BU People Experience Lead and functional queries to the relevant SSC team
