Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • HR certification preferred such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within HR systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding oversight and offboarding activities.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate employee changes.
  • Maintain organized HR files in accordance with company standards.
  • Prepare and review HR reports, metrics, and workforce data to identify trends and support HR operations, compliance, and decision-making.

Human Resources Generalist

Full-time Orlando, FL, US

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle processes. This role will focus on maintaining accurate HR data, supporting employee relations, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations, and contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This individual should be comfortable working independently, exercising sound judgment, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency. This position will report directly to the Director of Human Resources.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within HR systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance
  • Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding oversight and offboarding activities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate employee changes
  • Maintain organized HR files in accordance with company standards
  • Prepare and review HR reports, metrics, and workforce data to identify trends and support HR operations, compliance, and decision-making.
Employee Relations Support & Administration
  • Serve as a point of contact for general employee inquiries, including benefits, pay, policies, HR processes, and other employment-related questions
  • Support leadership with employee relations including documentation and fact gathering
  • Maintain consistent ER documentation
  • Escalate complex issues appropriately
Compliance & Audit Support
  • Assist with audits, reporting, documentation reviews, policy updates, and related employee communications
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and employment regulations
  • Identify and raise potential compliance risks
  • Assist with leave of absence administration, reasonable accommodation processes, and related documentation in coordination with HR leadership
  • Support resolution of compliance issues
Process Improvement & HR Initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and workflows
  • Monitor recurring employee inquiries, HR activity, and process trends to identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and increase operational efficiency
  • Contribute to the refinement and consistent application of HR procedures, and independently drive process improvements where gaps or inefficiencies are identified
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives
  • Contribute to scalable HR processes
    Recruitment Support (Limited)
    • Provide support for recruitment activities as needed
    • Help ensure a consistent hiring experience
    Job Qualifications and Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
    • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience
    • HR certification preferred such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR
    • Knowledge of HR principles and employment regulations
    • Experience supporting HR operations and employee relations
    • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP preferred)
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Ability to handle confidential information
    • Strong judgment and ability to elevate issues appropriately
