Job summary

Legends Global in New York City is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to manage day-to-day HR administration and support the full employee lifecycle, including high-volume recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and employee relations.

Reporting to the HR Manager at Etihad Park, this role requires excellent organizational, communication and teamwork skills, experience in hospitality operations, and the ability to work under pressure in a live-events environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive human resources experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field is preferred.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.

THE ROLE

The Human Resources Generalist is an integral part of delivering our promise to our guests. The HR Generalist will be responsible for executing day to day HR administration and assisting with full employee lifecycle processes. This position carries out HR generalist responsibilities in the following functional areas but not limited to high volume recruitment, training, performance management, onboarding, and employee relations. This role reports to the Human Resources Manager to partner on key initiatives at Etihad Park, NYC’s first-ever soccer-specific stadium.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Support with new hire orientation initiatives and materials.
• Ensures optimum staffing levels always exist throughout the unit for operational success.
• Provide HR support during events and non-event days as needed.
• Partners with HR Manager to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations.
• Provide HR support during events and non-event days as needed.
• Ensures company compliance with all existing governmental and labor reporting requirements.
• Partners in the preparation of required documentation for compliance with all state and federal laws.

• Education, preferred qualifications, and/or experience
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or other business related.
• 3-5 years of progressive human resources experience.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Ability to work with co-workers, volunteers and all levels of staff.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

COMPENSATION

Competitive hourly rate of $26.00 - $28.00 commensurate with experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Ability to work in all weather conditions. Exposure to loud noises (i.e., fireworks, voices, and audio systems), flashing lights, and extreme heat/cold in Stadium settings.
