Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking an HR Generalist to administer daily HR functions, including policies, procedures, HSE, recruitment, onboarding, leaves, relations, and benefits enrollment, in a manufacturing environment.

You will use Workday and TCP to process payroll, leaves, and status changes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws. A minimum of 2+ years in HR is required, with a collaborative approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR or related experience.
• Experience in safety, recruiting, onboarding, orientation, training, employee relations and payroll.
• Knowledge of relevant labor laws and compliance.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily HR functions: policies, procedures, HSE, hourly recruitment and staffing, employee relations, leaves of absence and benefits enrollment.
• Conduct HR generalist activities in safety, recruiting, selection, onboarding, orientation, training, employee relations, engagement and payroll.
• Assist with communication and enrollment of benefits, safety and wellness programs with related departments.
• Support continuous improvement in HR functions to identify opportunities and gaps.
• Utilize Workday, TCP, and other HRIS to administer payroll, wage changes, leaves, and status updates.
• Assist in FMLA, disability and other leaves of absence programs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws; promote open communication and accessibility for employees.
• Maintain professional affiliations and participate in continuous learning and compliance initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

About The Opportunity

Administer daily functions of the HR department, including HR policies and procedures, HSE, hourly recruitment and staffing, employee relations, leaves of absence, and benefit enrollment. 2+ years of HR or related experience. Conduct human resource generalist activities in the areas of safety, recruiting, selection, onboarding, orientation, training, employee relations, employee engagement and payroll. Assist with communication and enrollment of benefits, safety, and wellness programs, working in conjunction with the corresponding functional departments. Support continuous improvement activities to identify and resolve opportunities and gaps within the HR function. Utilize Workday, TCP, and other related HRIS to administer payroll, wages, status change, leave entitlement, attendance, and other related personnel transactions. Assist in FMLA, Disability, and other leaves of absence programs. Ensure knowledge of and compliance with all relevant labor laws. Promote open door communication with all employees; be visible to ensure employees feel at ease to approach for questions and be available to counsel as required. Maintain appropriate professional affiliations and participate in professional development activities that foster continuous learning and ensure business compliance with applicable state and federal employment, wage, FMLA, OSHA and other regulations and/or procedures. Other duties as assigned. Experience in a manufacturing environment highly preferred.
