Job summary

Clean Energy & Infrastructure Services based in Miami is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to facilitate HR processes under the direction of the HR Business Partner. This role will manage employee health and benefit plans and resolve benefits-related issues.

Applicants should have at least 4 years of experience in HR, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and possess an AA or AS degree in a business-related field. Additional skills in both English and Spanish are necessary for effective communication.

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in HR position including payroll processing.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the selection, planning and administration of health and benefit plans.

Overview

The Human Resource Generalist facilitates the human resource processes for the company under the direction of the HR Business Partner. This role supports the HR Business Partner in selection, planning and administration of the employee health and benefit plans, resolves benefits‑related problems, and ensures positive employee relations, and assists in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures; Additionally, this role serves as the main contact for daily HR questions and concerns from employees, and is responsible for proper record‑keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry for the company.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the selection, planning and administration of health and benefit plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations.
  • Manage and process required insurance documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record‑keeping and proper deductions.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I‑9 documentation and maintains I‑9 files when HR assistant is not present or available.
  • Submits online requests and assists with new‑employee background checks.
  • Assists with processing of terminations.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Prepares new‑employee files.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in HR position including payroll processing.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel.
  • AA or AS degree in business related field.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
