Job summary

LONE STAR REEL INC in McKinney, TX is seeking a proactive Human Resources Generalist to support employees and leaders across three shifts onsite. You will guide day-to-day HR, drive full-cycle hiring and onboarding, and advance safety, training and engagement programs.

As a trusted HR partner, you’ll manage data, HRIS updates, plus benefits and leaves while ensuring policy compliance, aiming to strengthen a culture of collaboration and accountability across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a culture ambassador and promote employee-owned values and shared commitment to success.
• Provide HR guidance across employee relations, performance, engagement and team development.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for durable team growth.
• Lead new hire orientation and onboarding programs focused on safety and teamwork.
• Perform safety performance analysis and develop action plans aligned to EHS objectives.
• Maintain accurate employee data, attendance and timekeeping, and coordinate HRIS updates.
• Support benefits administration and leaves of absence in compliance with policies and laws.
• Deliver training programs supporting leadership development and continuous improvement.
• Foster employee engagement through wellness and community initiatives.

LONE STAR REEL INC is seeking a motivated, people-focused Human Resources Generalist to support employees and leaders across three shifts at their McKinney, TX onsite location. In this role, you will provide day-to-day HR guidance, help bring new talent through full-cycle hiring and onboarding, and support programs that strengthen engagement, safety performance, and training.

As a trusted HR partner, you will coordinate employee data and HRIS updates, support benefits and leaves while maintaining compliance, and reinforce company policies through consistent communication. The role also emphasizes building long-term teams and promoting the employee-owned values behind shared success.

What you’ll do

• Act as a culture ambassador, promoting LONE STAR REEL INC’s employee-owned values and shared commitment to success.
• Partner with supervisors and managers to provide HR guidance across employee relations, team development, performance management, and engagement.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment and retention, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, with a focus on durable team growth.
• Lead new hire orientation and onboarding programs that reinforce teamwork, safety expectations, and accountability.
• Perform safety performance analysis and develop action plans aligned to EHS objectives and results.
• Maintain accurate employee data including attendance and timekeeping, and collaborate with Corporate HR and payroll to keep system updates timely and correct.
• Support employees with benefits administration and leaves of absence, ensuring adherence to company policies and employment laws.
• Facilitate training programs that support leadership development, safety practices, and continuous improvement.
• Support employee engagement through team development, wellness, and community involvement initiatives.
• Ensure policies are communicated consistently and applied reliably, serving as a trusted resource for employees and leaders.

Requirements

• Genuine passion for people, with a collaborative and accountable approach to work.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels.
• HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred.
• OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification a plus.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; HRIS experience preferred.
