Seoyon E-Hwa Indiana is a leading automotive interior and exterior components manufacturer located in Jeffersonville, IN. We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Generalist to support recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding, compliance, reporting, and employee engagement across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified salaried and hourly employees.
• Support employee relations activities, including investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution.
• Administer and support employee benefit programs.
• Partner with management and employees to communicate HR policies, procedures, and employment law requirements.
• Maintain staffing plans, workforce metrics, employee files, and HR records.
• Coordinate employee events, recognition programs, training activities, and engagement initiatives.
• Maintain/assist the HRIS and payroll systems while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.

Seoyon E-Hwa Indiana, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our Human Resources team.

The projected start date for the position will be January 4th, 2027

Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist will support a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, onboarding, workforce reporting, and employee engagement programs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent follow‑through, and a passion for providing exceptional service to employees and management.

• Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified salaried and hourly employees
• Support employee relations activities, including investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution
• Administer and support employee benefit programs
• Partner with management and employees to communicate HR policies, procedures, and employment law requirements
• Maintain staffing plans, workforce metrics, employee files, and HR records
• Conduct workplace investigations and prepare recommendations for management review
• Coordinate employee events, recognition programs, training activities, and engagement initiatives
• Maintain/assist the HRIS and payroll systems while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
• Assist with unemployment claims, workers’ compensation, leave administration, onboarding, and HR compliance activities
• Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, maintaining records, and coordinating vendors
• Respond promptly to employee and management inquiries and ensure timely follow‑up and issue resolution
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and EEOC requirements
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and HR/payroll systems such as ADP
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Detail‑oriented with strong follow‑up and follow‑through skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while meeting deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Indiana Unemployment Compensation (UC), Workers' Compensation (WC), and OSHA compliance
• Manufacturing experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2-5 years of Human Resources experience or a closely related field
