Job summary

Strong Tower Partners in Houston, TX seeks an experienced HR Generalist to support 300+ employees in a fast-paced distribution and supply chain environment. This hands-on role covers the full employee lifecycle, including payroll via Paycom, employee relations, onboarding, benefits, and HR compliance.

You will report to the HR Director, collaborate with managers, and drive HR projects, reporting, and development initiatives across multiple states. SHRM certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of HR Generalist or HR operations experience.
• Hands-on Paycom HRIS and payroll experience.
• Full-spectrum HR experience across employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, payroll, compliance, HRIS, and HR administration.
• Required multi-state HR experience supporting employees across multiple locations.
• Experience supporting payroll across approximately 3–4 business units.
• Strong knowledge of applicable employment laws and HR practices.
• Excellent communication, organization, discretion, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with employees, managers, and leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers.
• Support employee relations, investigations, performance matters, and HR policy interpretation.
• Manage multi-state HR compliance and assist with employment law requirements, audits, and documentation.
• Support Paycom payroll administration across approximately 3–4 business units, including timekeeping, payroll changes, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, new-hire documentation, and background checks.
• Support benefits administration, enrollment, and employee questions.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data in Paycom.
• Prepare HR reports and assist with HR projects, training, and employee development.
• Partner closely with the HR Director and managers on day-to-day HR needs.

What We’re Looking For
