Job summary

Nissha Medical Technologies is hiring an HR Generalist for our Colorado Springs, CO facility. You will oversee recruitment, onboarding, leaves, workers’ compensation, and drive employee engagement to foster a positive workplace.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in HR and 3+ years in HR, preferably in manufacturing. Strong communication, discretion, and MS Office proficiency are essential, with APD/Oracle HCM experience a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR management or related field.
  • 3+ years of HR experience.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and discretion.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • ADP experience and Oracle HCM experience helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment for hourly positions from posting to selection, aligned with EEO goals.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding, screenings, orientations and exit interviews.
  • Serve as trusted advisor on employee relations and resolve issues.
  • Oversee leaves (FMLA, disability) and workers’ compensation processes.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
  • Administer benefits, onboarding of new hires, and terminations.
  • Provide remote HR support to other locations and support policy implementation.

What You Will Do

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join the Human Resources Team at our Colorado Springs, CO manufacturing facility. This role will play a pivotal part in overseeing recruitment efforts, fostering positive employee relations, managing leaves and workers’ compensation claims, and driving employee engagement initiatives to enhance our workplace environment. Assists the Human Resources Manager administering programs, policies and practices that provide and maintain a positive and productive work environment for all employees.

General ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow Employee guidelines and Quality System Regulations as defined by Biomedical Innovations practices, policies and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that customer requirements and industry standards and or regulations are met.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and acts in accordance with NMT’s Employee Guidelines and applicable quality standards as outlined in NMT’s Quality Manual.
  • Abides by all safety and security rules set forth by the company and regulatory agencies.
  • Regular attendance is required.
Recruitment And Onboarding
  • Lead recruitment efforts for hourly positions, from job posting to candidate selection, ensuring alignment with EEO goals.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including pre-employment screenings, new hire orientations and exit interviews, to facilitate smooth integration into and out of the organization.
Employee Relations and Performance Management
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on matters pertaining to employee relations.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions, to ensure fair and consistent treatment of employees.
  • Provide expert-level consultation, investigation, and resolution of employee relations issues and conflict with limited supervision.
Leaves and Workers’ Compensation
  • Manage leaves of absence, including disability, FMLA, and other related regulations, to support employees during times of need.
  • Handle workers’ compensation claims, ensuring timely processing and compliance with relevant laws and policies.
Employee Engagement
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale within the facility.
  • Coordinate employee events, recognition programs, and feedback mechanisms to foster a culture of appreciation and continuous improvement.
  • Continuously foster relationships with all manufacturing employees to ensure open lines of communication and trust.

What You Bring Core Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management or related area preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in and HR capacity.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex HR issues with discretion and integrity.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PP)
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking systems helpful
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability and willingness to interact with all people in a sensitive, responsive manner
  • High level of listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
  • ADP experience as well as experience with Oracle HCM is helpful.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certification preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 — $75,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
