Job summary

Hayward Holdings, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to support our flagship manufacturing operations in Clemmons and Mocksville, NC, partnering with leaders to shape a positive workplace culture and employee experience.

You will manage employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and HR data in Workday, ensuring compliance and contributing to talent development across the organization. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of HR experience, a Bachelor's degree, strong communication skills, and bilingual

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or fast-paced operations.
• Experience with employee relations, policy interpretation and compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
• Lead hourly recruiting, onboarding, interviewing, and outreach.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities.
• Ensure HR compliance and maintain accurate employee data in Workday.
• Assist with leaves, accommodations, investigations, and workplace concerns.
• Support training, talent development, succession planning, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate on workforce planning, retention, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our HR team, you'll serve as a trusted advisor and business partner, helping drive employee engagement, support organizational goals, and create an exceptional employee experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with leaders and employees on employee relations matters, performance management, coaching, and policy interpretation
• Leading hourly recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and community outreach
• Supporting employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities
• Ensuring compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices
• Managing HR processes within Workday and maintaining accurate employee data
• Assisting with leaves of absence, accommodations, investigations, and workplace concerns
• Supporting training, talent development, succession planning, and performance review processes
• Collaborating on workforce planning, retention initiatives, and continuous improvement projects

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or a fast-paced operational environment
• Strong employee relations and recruiting experience
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Ability to build credibility and influence at all levels of the organization
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
• Experience with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
