Job summary

SandyPines Residential Treatment Center, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), seeks a Human Resources Director to lead HR activities for the facility. You will oversee recruitment, employee relations, compensation, compliance and act as a trusted resource for facility management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required.
• 5-7 years of HR experience; healthcare experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory/management experience.
• HR Certification (through HRCI or SHRM) preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with knowledge of Federal and State employment laws.
• Experience with wage/salary programs, benefits, workers' compensation, recruiting/retention, training/development, and employee relations.
• Leadership and administrative abilities including computer skills and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute HR activities across recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and compliance for the facility.
• Serve as a professional resource for facility management on HR-related activities.
• Support growth and development opportunities within UHS and its subsidiaries while ensuring regulatory compliance.

SandyPines Residential Treatment Center provides children and adolescents the opportunity to confront their personal issues, engage in a problem-solving process, test new behaviors and formulate a more constructive approach to life’s challenges.We are the largest secure residential treatment center for children and adolescents in Southeast Florida at 149-beds and have a fully accredited school on our campus. Our veteran nursing management team is a wonderful complement to our stable senior leadership that helps make Sandy Pines a wonderful fit for a long-term impact.

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Director to join our team. This position is responsible for executing Human Resource activities at the facility for all functional areas, (e.g., recruitment, employee relations, compensation, compliance, etc.) and serves as a professional resource for facility management on all HR related activities.

• Requires leadership, organizational, supervisory and administrative abilities including excellent computer skills and knowledge of various software, internet-based HR systems and email.
