The Cypress of Raleigh Club, Inc. seeks an experienced Human Resources Director to lead all HR functions, aligning people strategy with business goals.

This role partners with leadership to recruit, develop, engage, and retain top talent while ensuring legal compliance and budget discipline. You will champion a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement, with a focus on strategic planning and scalable HR programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible HR experience. PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA, COBRA, ACA.
• Experience leading associate relations investigations and performance management.
• Experience with compensation, benefits, and recruitment.
• Must be a strategic and forward-thinking leader who excels at setting priorities, delegating effectively, and planning for both short and long-term success.
• Visionary mindset to anticipate future challenges and opportunities, drive initiatives, and align objectives with sustainable strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC-based spreadsheets; experience with HR software preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid and Active Driver License issued from any state.
• Successful completion of Cypress of Raleigh Golf Cart Training.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Director provides leadership for all human resources functions, supporting the organization’s mission, culture, and business objectives. The position partners with leadership to recruit, develop, engage, and retain a high performing workforce while ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations. The Director fosters a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement. Prepares and adheres to departmental budget. This position warrants a company Data Plan.
