Job description

Location: TDA AGH — Corporate / Multi-Site / Located at Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Standard business hours with occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate candidate availability, recruiting events, or operational needs. Up to 25% travel required.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

People are the foundation of everything TDA AGH does — and this role is at the center of building that foundation. As our HR Coordinator / Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will own the full recruiting lifecycle across your assigned locations while supporting a broad range of HR functions that keep our teams running smoothly.

This is a role for someone who moves fast, thinks strategically, and genuinely enjoys connecting with people. You will partner closely with hiring managers, represent TDA at career fairs and campus events, and ensure every new hire has a seamless experience from first contact through their first day. If you are a relationship-builder with sharp organizational skills and a passion for finding the right person for the right role — this is your seat at the table.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle — from job posting through offer acceptance — for all open positions across assigned locations.
  • Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to understand workforce needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Build and maintain diverse candidate pipelines using job boards, community organizations, local colleges, and professional networks.
  • Screen applications, conduct structured phone interviews, and coordinate in-person or panel interviews as required.
  • Champion employer branding through campus visits, career fairs, and community partnerships.
  • Administer and continuously improve ATS workflows; ensure data integrity and timely disposition of all candidates.
HR Coordination & Compliance
  • Coordinate new-hire onboarding, including I-9 verification, benefits enrollment, and orientation scheduling.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions on HR policies and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS; generate reports and audits as needed to support compliance and decision-making.
  • Support compliance efforts including EEO reporting, I-9 audits, and adherence to federal, state, and local employment law.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and data privacy in all HR matters.
  • Perform additional HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Safety
  • Complete all required training.
  • Only complete tasks for which you are fully trained.
  • Report any safety hazard or incident immediately to station leadership.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Required
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive recruiting experience, including at least 2 years managing full-cycle recruitment.
  • High proficiency with ATS platforms and HRIS systems.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Solid working knowledge of HR best practices, RI employment law, and compliance requirements.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

  • Must be able to fulfill the requirements to obtain a SIDA (Secure Identification Display Area) badge
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred
  • HR generalist background is a significant plus.
  • Prior experience in aviation, transportation, or a similarly fast-paced, multi-site operating environment.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent HR certification.
  • Experience supporting multi-location workforce planning and staffing.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

Primarily office-based with regular travel to station locations, career fairs, college campuses, and community events. Some work may be performed remotely depending on operational requirements. Occasional exposure to airport and ramp environments when visiting station locations.
