Human Resources Coordinator - Signia by Hilton Orlando and Waldorf Astoria Orlando (Finance)

The Signia by Hilton Orlando is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support both properties' HR teams. The role involves assisting in managing HR functions to ensure excellent guest experiences and financial success.

Our properties feature:

  • Signia by Hilton Orlando: 1009 bedrooms and suites
  • Waldorf Astoria Orlando: 501 deluxe rooms and suites

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of recent hotel experience and is eager to develop a career in Human Resources.

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 9AM-5:30PM

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage data systems, including entry of team member info, employment transitions, report generation, and unemployment claims processing
  • Oversee daily HR operations: recruitment, training, compensation, labor relations, compliance, safety, and performance evaluations
  • Coordinate team member relations activities such as events and recognition programs
  • Ensure compliance with Affirmative Action and EEO regulations

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of meeting room setup, service standards, and guest relations
  • Understanding of table settings and service ware
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work outdoors and handle pressure professionally
  • Familiarity with hotel events
