The Human Resources team at Colorado School of Mines is seeking an enthusiastic and service-oriented HR Coordinator (Program Assistant I) to serve as the front door to HR while supporting a wide variety of recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration initiatives. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to build a strong foundation in Human Resources and higher education administration. Professional experience in fast-paced, clinical, insurance or other high-volume, privacy-oriented settings is highly desired! The successful candidate will join a collaborative HR team supporting more than 1,500 employees and will play an important role in delivering exceptional service to faculty, staff, students, applicants, and campus visitors.
As the HR Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for the Human Resources office and provide critical administrative and program support across the organization.

The HR office experiences significant walk-in, phone, and email traffic, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative, energetic, customer-facing environment. Minimal Level of Education and Experience:
At least four years of professional experience working in an operational or administrative support, office management, reception and clerical support role which must have included:

Education and Experience: A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to four (4) years. (TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED FOR EDUCATIONAL SUBSTITUTION CREDIT)
