Job Description: Position Summary The Human Resources Coordinator serves as a key partner within the Human Resources Department, providing comprehensive administrative, operational, and customer service support across all HR functions, including Team Member Relations, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Training & Development, Internal Communications, Employee Engagement, HRIS administration, and compliance initiatives. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming, service-focused, and solution-oriented experience for all Team Members, applicants, and leaders. As one of the first points of contact for Human Resources, the HR Coordinator champions Hard Rock’s culture, values, and service standards by delivering timely support, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring a positive employee experience throughout the Team Member lifecycle. The ideal candidate demonstrates a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a genuine passion for serving internal customers. Success in this role is built on responsiveness, professionalism, collaboration, and a commitment to creating meaningful experiences for Team Members at every interaction. This is an hourly, entry-level Human Resources position that offers exposure to all areas of Human Resources and serves as a developmental opportunity for future HR professionals.
Serve as a primary HR resource for Team Members, applicants, and leaders by providing exceptional customer service and timely support.
Support employee relations initiatives, including Stay Interviews, Exit Interviews, recognition programs, and employee engagement activities.
Foster a positive workplace culture through professionalism, responsiveness, and relationship-building.
Support recruiting efforts through applicant tracking, candidate communications, interview coordination, and hiring events.
Assist with onboarding activities and ensure completion of employment documentation and pre-employment requirements.
Partner with hiring leaders to deliver a seamless candidate and new hire experience.
Assist Team Members with benefits inquiries and support open enrollment and benefits-related communications.
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality of Team Member information.
Support HR transactions, audits, and administrative processes.
Coordinate training sessions, leadership development programs, and learning initiatives.
Maintain training records and assist with employee development activities.
Own and execute HR communications that support Team Member awareness, engagement, and organizational initiatives.
Coordinate communications related to benefits, events, training, policy updates, and recognition programs.
Generate and distribute HR reports, workforce metrics, and required documentation.
Administer the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) process and support HR compliance initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and HR procedures.
Coordinate meetings, events, projects, and department activities as assigned.
Perform additional duties and special projects in support of departmental objectives.
