Select Specialty Hospital - The Villages is seeking an on-site HR Coordinator (HRC) in Oxford, FL to serve as the primary HR presence at the hospital. Working with HR Shared Services, this role drives day-to-day HR execution, employee support, and compliance while providing local SME guidance.

The position focuses on coordinating payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, onboarding, and data integrity, with a strong emphasis on compliance and employee relations within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field; commensurate experience considered with approval.
• Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience required.
• Healthcare facility HR experience with Joint Commission/CMS preferred.
• Familiarity with benefits, payroll administration and employment laws.

Responsibilities

Select Specialty Hospital - The Villages is seeking an on-site Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) in Oxford, FL to serve as the primary HR presence at the hospital. Working in close partnership with centralized HR Shared Services, this role helps drive day-to-day HR execution, employee support, and compliance, while providing local subject matter expertise.

What You'll Do

• Own and coordinate day-to-day HR operations at the hospital level, ensuring high-quality execution across the employee lifecycle.
• Partner closely with HR Shared Services to deliver seamless support in payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, employee data, and HR administration.
• Act as a trusted, service-oriented resource for both employees and leaders.
• Coordinate and support accurate payroll processing, timekeeping, and data integrity.
• Support talent acquisition activities, including hiring coordination, onboarding, and workforce planning support.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws, licensing requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Serve as the local subject matter expert for benefits, policies, and HR processes.
• Handle employee relations needs with professionalism, discretion, and consistency.
• Contribute to building and sustaining a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
• Provide insights that help shape HR strategy and operational effectiveness at the hospital level.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, or a related field required. Commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of the degree with approval from Corporate HR.
• 2 years of Human Resources experience required.
• Previous HR experience in a healthcare facility with exposure to Joint Commission and CMS preferred.
• Familiarity with benefit administration, basic HR and Employee Relations functions, payroll administration, and state and federal employment laws.
