The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, team member records management, HR compliance, team member communications, and other HR-related activities. This role serves as a point of contact for team members and helps ensure efficient and professional HR operations while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of team member information.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date team member personnel files and HR records.
- Ensure all team member information is entered accurately into HRIS systems.
- Assist with scheduling interviews and some recruiting.
- Coordinate pre-employment screenings and reference calls.
- Support payroll administration by ensuring team member data changes are uploaded accurately and timely.
- Assist with team member engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.
- Create internal communications, team member engagement materials, presentations, recognition announcements, and other HR-related marketing materials.
- Create, organize, and maintain new hire documents, onboarding packets, forms, and team member resources.
- Upload and maintain onboarding documents, forms, policies, and HR resources in Paychex Flex and additional platforms.
- Assist with special projects, process improvement initiatives, and departmental administrative projects as assigned.
- Support internal and external audits by providing HR documentation and reports.
- Generate HR reports and track key HR metrics as requested.
- Assist with performance appraisal administration, tracking, and communication.
- Manage Uniform Release Acknowledgements and ensure proper documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding team member and company information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Work Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 4 years of administrative experience, preferably in a Human Resources environment.
- Experience working with HRIS, or team member data management systems preferred.
- Previous experience supporting recruiting and file management is a plus.
- Knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Understanding of recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and personnel recordkeeping.
- Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, and applicant tracking systems.
Skills and Competencies:
