Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods in United States (NC) seeks an HR Generalist to coordinate benefits, payroll, onboarding, and employee relations. You will support recruiting, I-9 compliance, and HRIS data management, while maintaining employee files and records.

The role requires 2+ years of HR experience, a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), and bilingual English/Spanish skills. This is a full-time, on-site position in a manufacturing environment with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience with HRIS systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the administration and communication of employee benefits and assist employees during onboarding.
• Coordinate payroll activities and audits for errors.
• Conduct new hire orientation and oversee onboarding process.
• Provide employee relations support and cover HR Generalist/Manager when needed.
• Provide information on benefits and compensation programs including leaves of absence.
• Assist with recruiting and review applications for qualifications.
• Record unemployment and workers' compensation claims.
• File and analyze I-9 forms for accuracy.
• Create and maintain employee files.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Coordinates the administration and communication of employee benefits and assists employees

through the new hire and open enrollment process.

• Coordinates payroll activities and audits for errors.
• Conducts new hire orientation and oversight of onboarding process.
• Provides employee relations support and may provide coverage for HR Generalist or HR Manager during periods of absence.
• Provides employees and managers with information on benefit and compensation programs including leaves of absence.
• Assists with recruiting and reviews employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants; may assist with interviews.
• Records and completes unemployment claims and workers compensation claims.
• Files and analyzes I-9 forms for accuracy.
• Creates and maintains employee files.

Job Specifications

• 2+ years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment is required.
• High School Diploma is required, Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Excellent PC skills with prior HRIS experience.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
• Experience in high growth, small or mid-size manufacturing company is preferred.

Working Conditions

• Office, production and warehouse environment.
• The environment may be wet and cold with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F.
• Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.
