Job summary

Sunday River is seeking an HR Coordinator to support onboarding, team member records, safety/worker's comp, and resort events. The role reports to the VP of HR and collaborates with managers and staff across the mountain.

This FLEX (extended seasonal) position runs 9–11 months per year, averaging over 30 hours weekly, offering meaningful HR experience and a predictable seasonal break while remaining part of the Sunday River team.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Office skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and guest-service mindset.
• Willingness to learn new HR systems; experience with UKG, RTP, or Predictive Index is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Able to juggle multiple priorities with a positive attitude.
• Education and/or experience will be considered rather than a strict checklist.
• Background check completion is required.

Responsibilities

• Guide new and returning team members through hiring and onboarding, including I-9 tracking.
• Maintain accuracy of HRIS data in partnership with managers.
• Support workers' comp tracking and case management.
• Draft and post updates to policies, procedures, and internal communications.
• Organize team member events and recognition programs during busy periods.
• Keep HR materials organized, current and compliant.

Overview

Join our Human Resources team and help take care of the people who take care of our guests. As HR Coordinator, you'll be the friendly face and steady hand behind onboarding, team member records, safety/worker's comp support, and the events and work perks that keep resort culture strong. You'll report to the VP of Human Resources and work closely with managers and team members across the mountain.

This is a benefit-eligible FLEX (extended seasonal) position that typically works 9-11 months each year, averaging more than 30 hours per week. Responsibilities

• Guide new and returning team members through hiring and onboarding - including I-9 tracking - so their first experience with Sunday River feels smooth and welcoming
• Keep our HRIS accurate and up to date, partnering with hiring managers along the way
• Support workers' comp tracking and case management
• Help draft and post updates to policies, procedures, and internal communications
• Bring energy to team member events & recognition programs, and lend a helping hand during resort events busy periods
• Keep HR materials fresh, organized, correct, and compliant

Compensation & Benefits

• Wage range of $23 to $25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, with room for professional growth and advancement.
