Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, post openings, schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates.
  • Oversee onboarding, I-9 verification, and new hire setup.
  • Maintain confidential employee records and HR data in HRIS.
  • Support benefits enrollment, leave administration, and payroll processes.
  • Plan and support employee recognition events and engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with HR training schedules and compliance tracking.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including reporting and correspondence.

We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator

The successful candidate for this role is engaging, full of energy, compassionate, and is open to learning and leading by example, responding in a professional and courteous manner to guests and team, as well as being there to support the team both personally and professionally. The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the Human Resources department while helping deliver exceptional employee experience. This position is responsible for onboarding, employee records, employee benefits administration, and employee engagement initiatives. The HR Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for associates, ensuring professional, confidential, and service‑oriented support that aligns with the resort's luxury hospitality standards and culture.

Your Role
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
  • Assist in the coordination of recruitment activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Assist with applicant screening, reference checks, background checks, and pre‑employment documentation.
  • Prepare onboarding materials.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records and recruitment reports.
Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Ensure completion of all onboarding requirements.
  • Process employment paperwork, I-9 verification, and employee file documentation.
  • Prepare employee badges, uniforms, and system access requests.
  • Coordinate exit interviews, separation paperwork, and offboarding processes.
Employee Records & HR Administration
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Update employee information in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Prepare employment verification letters and other HR documentation.
  • Assist with HR audits and compliance reporting.
Benefits & Payroll Support
  • Support employee benefit enrollment and changes.
  • Assist employees with benefit questions and direct them to appropriate resources.
  • Coordinate leave administration documentation, including FMLA and other leave requests.
Employee Engagement
  • Assist with planning employee recognition events, celebrations, wellness programs, and engagement initiatives.
  • Support associate communication programs and internal events.
  • Help coordinate community service activities and employee appreciation programs.
  • Must enjoy creating events and promotional materials.
Training & Development
  • Support schedule training sessions and maintain training records.
  • Track required compliance and safety training completion.
  • Assist with leadership development and learning initiatives.
HR Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
  • Assist with policy updates and HR communications.
Administrative Support
  • Answer HR inquiries and provide excellent customer service to associates and managers.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and meeting materials.
  • Manage HR calendars, schedules, and department supplies.
  • Assist with special HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

  • 1–3 years of Human Resources, administrative, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Hospitality or luxury resort experience is a plus.
