A leading public sector agency is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support the Human Resources Group Manager. This role involves managing confidential information, analyzing organizational challenges, and requires strong project management skills. The Human Resources Coordinator is a journey-level, stand-alone position responsible for supporting the Office of the Human Resources Group Manager and the Human Resources Services Section. This role involves handling highly confidential information related to District management decisions, employer-employee relations, and sensitive organizational issues. The work requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, organizational skills, and a desire to assist others.
Responsibilities include analyzing organizational challenges, personnel services, projects, and programs. The candidate should have project management skills, the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure, and exercise sound judgment to ensure timely and quality outcomes. Experience in a public sector agency and interaction with unions are preferred.
This role involves maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information regularly.
Schedule: 9/80, Monday through Friday, every other Friday off.
Hybrid Work: The position follows a hybrid schedule with two days in person and the rest remote, subject to organizational needs and policy updates.
Travel: Travel to various District facilities, sometimes requiring overnight stays.

Associate's degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience, or four years in a comparable HR role within the District.
Valid California Class C Driver's License or equivalent.
