Job Description
About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support the day-to-day HR operations of a rapidly growing organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment, enjoys working with data and processes, and takes pride in getting the details right.

The HR Coordinator will be responsible for processing a wide range of employee transactions, maintaining accurate employee data and documentation, coordinating HR workflows, and ensuring requests move efficiently from initiation through completion.

This is a hands‑on, execution-focused role. Success requires exceptional attention to detail, strong follow‑through, comfort managing a high volume of transactions and competing priorities, and the ability to recognize when something does not look right. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys creating order, following a process, and finding ways to make that process better as the organization continues to scale.

Essential Functions
  • Process high-volume employee transactions throughout the employee lifecycle, including new hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, manager changes, organizational changes, leaves, and terminations.
  • Enter, update, audit, and maintain employee information across HR systems, spreadsheets, trackers, and other internal records with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate HR workflows across multiple stakeholders to ensure transactions are complete, properly documented, approved, and processed within required timelines.
  • Support new‑hire onboarding by coordinating pre‑employment requirements, employee documentation, system setup, orientation activities, and communication with internal teams.
  • Support pre‑employment processes including background checks, drug testing, physicals, MVRs, and other required screenings.
  • Review incoming HR requests and documentation for completeness and accuracy, identify missing or inconsistent information, and follow up to resolve issues before processing.
  • Maintain organized and accurate employee files and HR documentation in accordance with company policies and applicable recordkeeping requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and reconcile HR trackers and reports used to monitor employee transactions, headcount activity, onboarding, staffing changes, and other HR activities.
  • Perform routine audits of employee data and HR records to identify discrepancies and support overall data integrity.
  • Assist with employee data requests, reporting, and recurring HR processes by gathering, organizing, validating, and preparing information for review.
  • Coordinate with Payroll, Benefits, IT, Operations, Finance, and other departments to ensure employee changes are communicated and executed accurately.
  • Track outstanding actions and proactively follow up with employees, managers, and internal stakeholders to drive transactions to completion.
  • Follow established HR processes and controls while identifying opportunities to simplify workflows, eliminate unnecessary manual steps, and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, checklists, templates, and standard operating procedures as HR processes continue to evolve.
  • Provide administrative and project support for compensation cycles, organizational changes, HR audits, employee communications, and other HR initiatives.
  • Respond to routine employee and manager questions and route more complex matters to the appropriate HR team member.
  • Support additional HR projects and responsibilities as needed in a rapidly growing and evolving organization.
Key Skills
  • Exceptional communicator – direct and transparent, skilled problem‑solver with proven success in building coalitions and avoiding conflicts
  • Total ownership mentality – proactively identifies and removes obstacles across numerous ongoing tasks
  • Independent thinker – provides original thoughts and constantly asking “how can we do this better”
  • Innovative thinker – willingness to consider novel solutions and ability to adapt to change
  • Desirable teammate – impeccable character, humility, and collaborative
  • Relentless – aspires to contribute and achieve his/her full potential
