Job summary

The Center at Cordera in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR functions in a full-time, in-office role. You will manage recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and employee relations to support a positive, compliant workplace.

The Center at Cordera is a leading Skilled Nursing and Post-Acute facility dedicated to providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to our community in Colorado Springs. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR functions and support our valued team members. This is a full-time, in-office position vital to maintaining a positive and compliant workplace.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for all departments.
• Administer employee benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, 401K) and serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fairness and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, including those specific to healthcare facilities.
• Maintain accurate HR records, systems, and reporting.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Foster a positive, supportive, and engaging work environment for all staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 3-5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management or generalist role.
• Previous HR experience within a Skilled Nursing, Post-Acute, or other healthcare setting is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
