Job summary

Delta Air Lines in Atlanta seeks a Strategic Communications Manager within the HR & Wellness Communications team to lead internal and external communications supporting the Chief People Officer. You will shape the communications strategy for leaders and employees across the enterprise.

Ideal candidate will manage executive communications, collaborate across HR, Wellness and divisions, and translate business priorities into engaging campaigns, videos, events, and measured results.

How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities)

As part of the HR & Wellness Communications team, the Strategic Communications Manager will play a key role in leading both the internal and external communications strategy supporting the Chief People Officer. This role will also support the execution of the HR & Wellness communications strategy for leaders and employees across the enterprise.

What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
  • The role will manage elements of the CPO’s internal communications, including employee engagement, internal videos, company events and other employee-facing opportunities, and external communications, including events, speaking engagements and media opportunities.
  • This position requires substantial coordination and cooperation with departments and divisions across the company, including and especially Human Resources, Wellness and Divisional Engagement teams. It will also include close coordination with the CPO’s executive support team on scheduling and prioritizing executive time with regard to internal and external communications.
  • Primary Duties/Responsibility: This position will support both strategically and tactically key initiatives across the HR and Wellness organizations with work focused on communications planning, content creation, campaign development and metrics analysis.
