A leading company seeks a Human Resources Business Partner to optimize workforce strategy and enhance team member development. This role involves executing HR strategies, supporting leadership decisions, and fostering a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in HR and 3+ years of relevant experience.
Summary:
The HR Partner will execute a strategy to optimize human capital that contributes to the achievement of business unit objectives. In close partnership with People Operations and the COEs, this position will partner with leadership on creating a safe environment for our team and leverage our Employee Value Proposition. This position will focus on the retention and development of our team members while also driving business results.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide input and implement HR strategy to drive the organization’s vision.
- Assist in the development and implementation of plans and programs to ensure effective utilization of HR resources.
- Influence team member behavior to promote safety and HR principles.
- Identify and correct risk-generating patterns in EEO and AA using available resources.
- Champion EID initiatives.
- Build team member networks to gather feedback for corrective actions in adverse conditions.
- Identify patterns leading to dissatisfaction and develop strategies to address them.
- Provide coaching to support leadership development and decision-making to enhance performance.
- Partner with COE and People Operations on onboarding and orientation processes.
- Collaborate with leaders on workforce strategy and execution.
- Manage grievances and work with LR COE on potential violations of contracts/CBAs.
- Evaluate talent and development programs.
- Monitor success of policies against ROI targets and adjust as needed.
- Implement innovative programs to prepare the workforce for the future.
- Support EVP and talent process improvements through identifying opportunities and providing input.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or related field. Equivalent work experience considered.
- Experience: 3+ years relevant work experience.
- Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to adapt communication style.
- Special Skills: Strong HR strategy execution knowledge, process improvement skills, analytical skills, and confidentiality.
