Job description

As the Human Resources Manager, you will serve as the main point of contact for our Boutique & Wholesale Retail employee population and provide general support to parts of the PCD Commercial population. This role involves developing and executing HR initiatives across talent management, performance management, training and development, compliance, and employee relations. You will partner with the Senior Manager, Human Resources Business Partner, to implement programs that attract, coach, develop, and manage the organization's talent pool, while evaluating the effectiveness of talent processes.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Business Partnership
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for Boutique & Wholesale Retail Teams and broader PCD organization as needed.
  • Lead HR strategies and manage HR projects for new boutique locations in partnership with the Senior Manager, HR Business Partner.
  • Support new Boutique openings and key transformation areas with seamless HR practices.
  • Act as a liaison between retail and corporate teams.
  • Ensure accurate and timely HR operations execution.
  • Talent Management
    • Provide HR support ensuring compliance with laws and consistent practices.
    • Align policies to support diversity and inclusivity.
    • Advise and mentor managers, fostering employee engagement and leadership skills.
    • Serve as a labor relations expert, facilitating organizational changes and responding to employee feedback.
    • Develop policies and procedures as needed.
    • Guide retail teams on employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and analyze exit interview trends.
    • Manage internal employee communications and analyze HR data trends.
  • Talent Acquisition
    • Support talent risk identification and pipeline development.
    • Manage retail recruitment in partnership with the Talent Team.
    • Assist in developing HR programs for sourcing, hiring, and training management associates.
    • Lead recruitment strategies for new store openings to ensure diversity.
  • Talent Development
    • Partner with HR teams to optimize onboarding for retail employees.
    • Design performance review content and developmental assignments.
    • Support employee mobility processes.
    • Enhance employee engagement and experience, conducting pulse checks and surveys to inform initiatives.
    Profile
    • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in luxury retail, covering performance management, compensation, talent management, employee and labor relations, with strong business acumen.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects independently, goal-oriented, results-driven.
    • Knowledge of retail KPIs and math.
    • Highly organized, with good time management and forecasting skills.
    • Integrity, professionalism, confidentiality.
    • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail.
    • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, conflict resolution skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software.
    • Willing to travel domestically 30-40%.
    • Hybrid work schedule: 4 days in NYC office, 1 remote, subject to change.
