The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with our firms and their employees.   • Strategic Partnership: Align HR strategies with business goals and provide workforce planning insights.
  • Employee Relations: Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • General onboarding and offboarding responsibilities.
  • Performance Management: Guide evaluations and support development plans.
  • Training and Development: Identify needs and facilitate development programs.
  • Succession Planning: Develop and implement strategies for identifying and preparing future leaders.
  • Change Management: Lead HR change initiatives and communicate effectively.
  • Policy Review and Creation: Develop, review, and update HR policies to ensure relevance and compliance.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to HR policies and legal regulations.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Advise on competitive structures and oversee benefits administration.
  • Payroll Assistance: Support payroll processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Implementation Projects: Manage and execute HR-related projects to improve processes and systems.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports for leadership.
  • Culture and Engagement: Promote company culture and organize engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:

HR Experience:

  • 6+ years proven experience across all areas of HR.
  • Proven experience in building HR or transformative HR initiatives and teams.
  • Experience in discovering competitive landscapes and making suggestions for improvements.
  • Deep HRIS experience to include running reports and some experience with payroll.
  • Experience extracting data and for the use of creating analytics and PowerPoints.
  • SPHR or SHRM certified

Industry Knowledge: Preferred

  • Understanding of architecture and engineering principles, practices, and terminology.
  • Familiarity with industry trends, challenges, and key players.

Other Skills:

  • Proficient in various HRIS platforms such as ADP or Paylocity
  • Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be highly organized, able to work independently and complete tasks and projects on time.
  • Strong

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Must have strong ability to follow up and maintain customer service, value add mindset when communicating.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong advisory and influencing skills

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills to assess candidates’ qualifications and fit for specific roles.
  • Ability to interpret recruitment metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.

Project Management Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple HR projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain records and manage timelines.

Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Ability to resolve conflicts and get creative to address challenges
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
