The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with team members and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function and retail to deliver value-added service to management and team members that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition. This position is considered a multi-functional role that will provide individualized support to two or more region managers and as needed support to district managers.
Interfaces will all levels within the organization including senior management. Coordinates with external vendor partners, government agencies and outside counsel as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Master’s degree in Human Resources
5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a business partner or generalist role. Working knowledge of compensation practices, employee and union relations, performance management, and knowledge of state and federal employment laws.

SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR. Training in organizational development or change management is a plus.
Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and customer service abilities. Demonstrates excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines. Skilled in influencing and building relationships across all levels of the organization. Brings strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Able to interpret, apply, and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines.
Typically M-F 8:30 AM - 5 PM from the corporate office, with the opportunity for 1 flex day per week contingent on job performance. Position requires travel to locations for onsite partnership/support to designated support group regions.
Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Requires travel 30%+ to designated support group region. Travel may occur via driving or flying.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer to include occasional travel.
