A leading non-profit organization seeks a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to strategically align HR initiatives with its mission and support the Childcare department. The HRBP will offer guidance on talent management and facilitate a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with HR best practices.
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning business objectives with employees and management. The HRBP acts as a consultant on human resource-related issues, providing guidance and support across talent management, staff development, employee relations, and performance management. This role will be a dedicated resource & support for the Childcare department and have a dotted line reporting to the SVP of School Aged Services. The HRBP plays a vital role in supporting the mission of the YMCA by aligning human resources strategies with the organization’s values and program goals. This role acts as a trusted advisor to leadership, helping to foster a positive, inclusive, and mission-driven workplace culture. The HRBP assists in ensuring HR practices uphold equity, compliance, and long-term organizational sustainability.
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This role will be a dedicated human resource support for the Childcare department and be the liaison to facilitate the partnership and alignment with childcare and human resources. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
WORK SCHEDULE:
The schedule for this full-time position is generally Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, though work outside these days/hours may be required depending on the business need.
Travel within the Memphis & Mid-South area to meet with staff will be required.
