Job summary

Atreides USA is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to partner with managers, enable scalable people processes, and drive performance and employee relations across a defined function.

You will own core HR executions, onboarding, workforce planning, and partner with Talent Acquisition and People Operations to ensure accurate data, policy adherence, and proactive risk management in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 4–6 years of progressive HR experience in an HR Generalist or HRBP role.
  • Experience supporting a defined business group with day-to-day HR ownership.
  • Ability to execute core HR processes end-to-end in fast-moving environments.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment practices and handling employee relations with escalation as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to balance priorities and changing needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for an assigned function or region, supporting managers on day-to-day people matters.
  • Translate manager needs into clear HR actions ensuring talent processes are executed accurately.
  • Facilitate performance cycles, talent reviews, and follow-through actions.
  • Support workforce planning by coordinating hiring requests and headcount changes.
  • Manage employee relations end-to-end, including intake, documentation, investigations, and resolution.
  • Support onboarding and lifecycle processes including promotions, transfers, and offboarding.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring execution, visibility, and offers inputs.
  • Coach managers and ensure consistent policy application and process adherence.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and records with People Operations.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, TA, and People Operations to implement changes correctly.
  • Identify trends or risks related to team effectiveness, retention, or compliance and share insights.

Position Overview:

As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will play a key role in helping leaders scale their teams by ensuring day-to-day people processes execute clearly, consistently, and with strong follow-through. This role is highly hands-on and execution-focused. You will work closely with managers to support performance management, talent processes, employee relations, and workforce changes, ensuring people initiatives are implemented with clarity and operational discipline. This role is expected to take ownership of core people execution within its scope and proactively identify opportunities to improve coordination, manager effectiveness, and process consistency. The role is initially centered on operational execution and day-to-day manager enablement. Over time, as business understanding and credibility grow, scope is expected to expand to include broader organizational influence and participation in more forward-looking People initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for an assigned function or region, providing timely support to managers on day-to-day people matters
  • Translate manager needs into clear HR actions, ensuring talent and workforce processes are executed accurately and efficiently
  • Facilitate execution of performance cycles, talent reviews, and associated follow-through actions
  • Support workforce planning by coordinating hiring requests, documenting rationale, tracking approvals, and maintaining visibility into headcount changes
  • Manage employee relations matters end-to-end, including issue intake, documentation, investigation support, and resolution
  • Support onboarding execution and assist with employee lifecycle processes including promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and offboarding coordination
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring execution, including coordination visibility, offer inputs, and process tracking
  • Reinforce consistent people practices by coaching managers, answering real-time questions, and helping ensure policies and processes are applied appropriately
  • Maintain accurate employee data, documentation, and records in partnership with People Operations
  • Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, and People Operations to ensure workforce changes are implemented correctly
  • Identify emerging trends or risks related to team effectiveness, retention, or compliance and share insights with People leadership
  • Over time, deepen partnership with managers by contributing insights that help shape more forward-looking people and workforce decisions
  • In a lean, scaling environment, support selected coordination activities to ensure people initiatives move efficiently
Required Qualifications:
  • Approximately 4–6 years of progressive HR experience, including experience in an HR Generalist, HRBP, or similar execution-focused role
  • Experience supporting a defined business group or functional area with day-to-day HR ownership
  • Demonstrated ability to execute core HR processes end-to-end in evolving or fast-moving environments
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment practices and confidence handling employee relations matters with appropriate escalation
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to balance structured execution with changing priorities
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in startups, high-growth technology environments, or similarly dynamic organizations
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations teams
