Job summary

The Davis Companies Inc. seeks an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support a growing manufacturing facility in Texas.

You will partner with plant leadership across employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, payroll, and development for ~100 employees, with growth to 130. Responsibilities include recruitment for hourly and salaried roles, policy guidance, investigations, compensation support, and engagement initiatives, with strong emphasis on compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience.
• Must have HR experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Must have worked in HR in Texas and possess strong knowledge of Texas employment laws and regulations.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience handling complex employee relations matters.
• Strong background in compensation, performance management, recruiting, compliance, and workforce planning.
• Heavy payroll experience required.
• ADP Workforce Now experience is strongly preferred (candidates with strong ADP experience may be considered).
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred, or willingness to obtain/re-certify within one year of employment.
• Must be eligible to work on government contracts.
• Supports approximately 100 employees across 3 shifts, with anticipated growth to 130 employees.
• Occasional local travel may be required.

The HRBP will support approximately 100 employees across three shifts, with projected growth to 130 employees.

• 1st Shift: 7:30 AM Start
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM Start
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Occasional local travel may be required.
