Job summary

Aptar is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to leadership across Cary North and McHenry manufacturing sites. You will influence business outcomes through people strategy, talent development, employee engagement, and change leadership.

You will partner with site leaders, lead workforce planning and performance management, champion engagement, and drive HR programs while ensuring compliance and an excellent employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• At least 6+ years of HR experience, including partnership with leaders in HRBP or HR Manager roles, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience developing and executing site HR strategies with measurable business impact.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, and HR best practices.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and balance business objectives with employee needs.

What You'll Do

As a key member of the HR team, you will:

• Partner with site leaders to align people strategies with business goals and operational priorities.
• Act as a trusted coach and advisor on employee relations, talent management, leadership effectiveness, and organizational change.
• Lead key talent initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, talent reviews, and employee development.
• Champion employee engagement and foster an inclusive, high-performing workplace culture.
• Drive annual HR programs and processes, including compensation planning, employee listening initiatives, goal setting, and organizational effectiveness activities.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and other HR Centers of Excellence to deliver impactful people solutions.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, workforce flexibility, and employer branding initiatives that strengthen our talent pipeline.
• Analyze workforce and HR metrics to identify trends, provide insights, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices while balancing business needs and employee experience.
• Serve as an employee advocate and change agent who builds trust, resolves challenges, and helps leaders navigate change successfully.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• At least 6+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience partnering directly with leaders in an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or similar role. Manufacturing experience, particularly manufacturing recruitment experience, is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing site-related HR strategies that drive measurable business outcomes. Please be prepared to share specific examples of HR initiatives you have led and the impact delivered.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, and HR best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and balance business objectives with employee needs.
