Job summary

ADB Companies, LLC seeks a Business Partner, Human Resources to align people strategies with business goals. You will deliver HR programs across the employee lifecycle, advise leadership, and coach managers on performance, discipline, and relations.

Based in the United States with travel up to 30%, this exempt role requires 5-7+ years HR experience, a strong foundation in labor law, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A Bachelor's degree and HR certification are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years handling Employee Relations matters.
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
  • HR Certification (PHR/SHRM-CP) strongly preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

  • Independently perform entry and mid-level HR functions and train junior staff.
  • Provide strategic HR support to leadership across the employee life cycle.
  • Audit HRIS workflows to optimize functionality and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Conduct advanced audits and data analysis on turnover, retention, labor costs.
  • Provide employee relations coaching to leadership on terminations, discipline, and performance.
  • Partner with HR Leadership to manage and facilitate performance evaluations companywide.
  • Present HR processes and training to staff and leadership.
  • Drive culture initiatives and engagement across the organization.
  • Serve as strategic partner to Vice Presidents and operations.
  • Ensure employment law compliance at all levels.

Position Overview:

Roles And Responsibilities:
  • Ability to independently perform all entry and mid-level HR functions, providing support and training to the entry/mid-level HR team members
  • Offers high-level, strategic HR support to ADB's leadership team and managers, serving as the subject matter expert on HR functions throughout the employee life cycle
  • Has advanced understanding of the HRIS and workflows to optimize functionality, find innovative solutions, and ensure adherence to internal standards and processes across the company
  • Independently performs advanced-level system audits and data analysis to identify and report on turnover, retention forecasts, labor costs, etc.
  • Provides employee relations and coaching support to ADB’s leadership team including: terminations, discipline, performance management, etc. ensuring leaders are making both ethical and legal people decisions and internal escalation procedures are followed
  • Partners with HR Leadership to manage and facilitate the performance management process companywide; auditing to ensure launch and completion of all evaluations
  • Regularly presents HR processes and best practice training to both team members and leadership including: employee relation best practices, HRIS training, process training, etc.
  • Drives culture initiatives and engagement within the organization
  • Highly analytical and forward-thinking; serving as the strategic business partner to all Vice Presidents and operations for their division
  • Expert knowledge of employment law at the federal, state, and local levels to ensure ADB practices and policies are compliant
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Work Environment:
  • This role operates out of ADB's corporate headquarters located in Pacific, MO or one of our offices in Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Lockport, or remote depending on location
  • This position operates out of a temperature-controlled office environment
  • This position may be required to use standard office equipment such as phones, computers, printers, etc.
Experience And Education:
  • 5-7+ years of Human Resources experience required
  • 3+ years of experience handling Employee Relations matters
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
  • HR Certification (PHR/SHRM-CP) strongly preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Driver’s License required

The starting pay for this position is $95,000.00 and may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
