Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an HR Business Partner to sit onsite in Ballinger, TX with multi-site responsibilities. You will partner with leadership to drive performance, engagement, and continuous improvement while embedding HR initiatives on the plant floor.

You will influence culture, manage core HR duties including payroll and employee relations, and work with Talent Acquisition to attract and retain top talent across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business or related field required.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• Up to 50% travel expected.
• PHR/SHRM-CP certification strongly preferred.

Job Description

As an HR Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in shaping our workforce strategy, partnering with leadership to drive performance, engagement, and continuous improvement. You will sit onsite in Ballinger, TX but will have multi-site responsibilities. You'll be embedded in the plant, working directly with employees and leadership to support a high-performing culture. • Be a True Business Partner – Work alongside supervisors and individual contributors to enhance the employee experience and support business goals.
• Drive Change & Improvements – Execute change management initiatives, optimize HR processes, and lead readiness activities to prepare for future challenges.
• Stay Connected to the Workforce – Be a visible and approachable presence on the floor, fostering engagement and building strong relationships.
• Leverage Data for Decision-Making – Use insights to inform HR strategies, improve processes, and drive workforce success.
• Manage Core HR Responsibilities – Oversee site HR administrative processes, payroll, performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
• Partner on Talent Strategy – Work with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
• Champion Culture & Engagement – Support initiatives that strengthen our culture and create exceptional employee experiences.

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor level degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business or related degree is required.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• Up to 50% travel expected.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 8 years of experience within human resources required.

Professional certification (PHR, SHRM-CP)strongly preferred.

Comprehensive skills in current Microsoft Office software.

Skilled in training facilitation (both virtual and in-person)

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
