We are seeking a talented Human Resources Business Associate to join our manufacturing plant in Hannibal, Missouri. The Human Resources Business Associate at General Mills is responsible for leading the execution of key HR initiatives. Candidates should have considerable knowledge of Human Resource principles and practices, including but not limited to, Talent Management, Compensation, Data Insights and Project Management. General Mills Hannibal Plant makes food people love that directly supports the General Mills Supply Chain Snacks and Meals businesses. Hannibal produces consumer brands such as Nature Valley, Old El Paso, and Betty Crocker. The Hannibal Plant is also proud to be the single source producer for our Progresso Soup Brand. The Hannibal Plant operates production out of multiple buildings and supports a separate warehouse & distribution site near the plant. Hannibal is located just 90 minutes north of St. Louis, Missouri.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• HR Business Partner for functional client groups
• Project lead for change management initiatives
• Partner with HR Manager and plant leadership in strategy development and execution
• Lead initiatives around annual process management (e.g. performance management cycle), workforce planning, employee engagement, championing belonging

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in ANY major; Bachelor’s in Human Resources Management or Business preferred
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong customer service focus
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access), Visio, and SharePoint; with a willingness to learn and master other software programs as needed
• Ability to drive results in a highly ambiguous and constantly changing environment
• Strong analytical, quantitative and critical thinking skills – ability to prepare and analyze HR reports, translate data into recommendations and take appropriate action to achieve desired business results
• Ability to lead and manage projects independently

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s in human resources or MBA preferred
• Previous experience in manufacturing environment preferred

SALARY RANGE

The salary range for this position is: $71,300 - $107,000 Annual. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range. Beyond base salary, General Mills offers a competitive Total Rewards package focusing on your overall well-being.
