The role requires at least one year of HR experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and the ability to pass fingerprint clearance. This is a full-time, on-site position with VOALA offering competitive benefits.

As part of the HR Service Team, the HR Associate I position is a vital resource for Human Resources department, performs the full spectrum of the Employment/Onboarding of new employees. Additionally, performs a variety of human resources functions, including compensation, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and other HR processes.
Ability to work and deal with difficult, uncooperative, and potentially aggressive clients as VOALA serves the neediest of the needy in our programs, which may include clients with homelessness, mental illness, substance abuse, recently released from incarceration, and other challenges.
As service providers to the underprivileged and vulnerable in our community, all employees are considered Mandated Reporters, and must report any instance of physical or sexual abuse to proper authorities.
