Job summary

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Associate Manager (Support Center) to partner with senior leaders on workforce planning, leadership development, and talent strategies that drive growth and culture across the organization.

Under HR Leadership, you will coach on performance, guide organizational effectiveness, and work with Talent Acquisition to align staffing with business priorities, while ensuring compliant associate relations and initiatives that enhance engagement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; HR or business major preferred.
  • Minimum five years of HR experience; include at least three years in HR Generalist roles (employee relations, training, recruiting).
  • PHR/SPHR or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Advise senior leaders on leadership effectiveness, performance, and talent development; guide leaders in evaluations and career development.
  • Develop and execute People Planning strategies with department heads and assess leadership capability.
  • Provide guidance on associate relations, conduct investigations, and document actions to mitigate risk.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to staff in alignment with company standards and business priorities.

Summary of Job Description:The Human Resources Associate Manager (Support Center), with guidance from HR Leadership, serves as a strategic partner to Senior Leadership, providing guidance on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and talent strategies that support department goals. This position plays a critical part in developing leadership capabilities, supporting People Planning, managing associate relations matters, and ensuring the alignment of talent decisions with the organization’s mission, culture, and long‑term growth objectives. The Human Resources Associate Manager (SC) supports department-wide initiatives that drive continuous improvement and organizational performance.Job Responsibilities:Under the guidance of HR Leadership, serves as a strategic advisor to Senior Leaders by providing coaching on leadership effectiveness, performance management, and talent development; guiding leaders in conducting effective evaluations, and supporting career development to build high‑performing teams. Advises on organizational structure, capability building, and long‑term talent strategy, facilitating targeted training sessions for client groups on a requested basis to reinforce leadership and organizational capabilities.Partners with Senior Leaders and department heads to develop and execute comprehensive People Planning strategies. Assesses leadership capability, identifying high‑potential talent, supporting success on planning efforts, and evaluating internal candidates for key roles and advising on talent placement that aligns with organizational priorities and future capability needs.Provides leaders with guidance on basic associate relations to ensure timely, fair, and compliant resolutions; conducts thorough investigations with clear documentation and appropriate action recommendations to mitigate risk and strengthen workplace culture. Escalates complex or high‑risk matters to HR Leadership as needed to maintain transparency and alignment with legal and organizational standards.Partners with Talent Acquisition to coach and advise leaders within assigned corporate departments on hiring high‑quality associates who align with PRG’s mission and culture. Works with Talent Acquisition team and department heads to ensure staffing needs are met in alignment with company and departmental standards.
