LKLP Community Action Council in Hazard, KY seeks an HR Administrative Specialist to provide comprehensive HR support, maintain confidentiality, and assist with benefits, onboarding, and records management.
The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work with diverse teams, including interviewing, HRIS upkeep, policy communication, and open enrollment tasks.
Provides administrative and operational support to Human Resources. Maintain a high level of accuracy, organization, discretion and attention to detail due to the sensitive nature of the tasks performed on a daily basis. Coordinates day to day human resource operations by performing the following duties.

Associate Degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Bachelor’s Degree from college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; Minimum or 3 years professional experience in HR support or employee services.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
Required to receive all certifications, licensing and registrations, as assigned by immediate supervisor or the Executive Director.
